This song means a lot to me. I first learned it a couple of years ago, but in Spanish. My first song to ever fully memorize in Spanish. For me, that makes it 10 times more special to sing because it shows no matter the language you can praise God.
—
“You are here, moving in our midst I worship You, I worship You You are here, working in this place I worship You, I worship You You are here, moving in our midst I worship You, I worship You You are here, working in this place I worship You, I worship You”
This reminds me of Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”
God is always here, sometimes He’s working quietly but always doing big things.
—
“You are Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper Light in the darkness, my God That is who You are Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper Light in the darkness, my God That is who You are”“You are here, touching every heart You are here, healing every heart I worship You, I worship You You are here, turning lives around I worship You, I worship You You are here, mending every heart I worship You, I worship You”
Praise God for all He does. He never stops. He is always helping, healing, and changing lives. None of what we are could be done without Him. “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his.” (Daniel 2:20)
—
“You are Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper Light in the darkness, my God That is who You are Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper Light in the darkness, my God That is who You are”
—
“Even when I don’t see it, You’re working Even when I don’t feel it, You’re working You never stop, You never stop working You never stop, You never stop working”“Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper Light in the darkness, my God That is who You are You are Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper Light in the darkness, my God That is who You are”
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end” (Lamentations 3:22) He is always working and moving in out lives, and that’s a promise he’ll keep forever.
This song is a reminder of God’s love and provision in our lives. He will forever be working to do things for the good of us. We can sing this song with a smile knowing that.
