My 2020 Travel Bucket List

We are almost a month into 2020! I am soo excited for what this year is going to bring and I am most excited to travel this year. I hope to do more road-trips, and go to places close to me that I have never been before! Just like last year I am giving you all a sneak peek into my travel bucket list for the year. As it is a bucket list, some of these might not happen and others not on the list might happen. So be sure to stay tuned as I’ll blog about all my trips!

TRAVEL BUCKET LIST

*not in any specific order*

  1. Kansas City, MO

Yes, this was on my bucket list last year, and no, I did not end up going. Sadly. Kansas City is one of my favorite weekend getaway places. I love going with my mom and aunt. We spend the weekend shopping, eating great food, and relaxing. I haven’t been in a couple years, and plan to make a girls weekend in a couple months!

  1. Colorado

One of my best friends went to Colorado last year, and she fell in love with it. I’m the only one in my family who hasn’t been, and that never bothered me one bit. However, after my bestie came back and could not stop gushing about how great it is, how beautiful, and how she can’t wait to go back; I knew I had to go to Colorado and see why it is so special to her. I’m hoping that our schedules will allow for her and I to road-trip there and explore!

  1. Branson, MO

This might seem a little random, but I really want to go to Silver Dollar City in Branson! I haven’t been in a long time, but all the memories I have there are so great. They currently are closed for the winter until March, but as it gets warmer I’ll be counting down. There is some other fun things in Branson that my friends have mentioned I should do, so I definitely want to make a weekend out of this and play!

  1. Seattle, WA

Yes yes yes. I went to Seattle last year on a film competition and fell in love with this city. This trip was so fun, and we didn’t even get around to the whole city because of our competitions. One of my friends, that went with me, and I haven’t stopped talking about this trip since. We both want to go back to explore more, and make another stop at the first Starbucks ever! I mean, that made the whole trip worth it for me.

  1. Gilmore Girls Road-trip

If you’ve never seen the show Gilmore Girls, then you’re missing out. Just saying. My mom and I love this show, and we came across a “road-trip like you’re with the Gilmore Girls” article that we want to do. Hitting all the stops of their small little town, and playing like we’re them would be so fun. This would be a girls trip just my mom and I. We haven’t done one in a while, so this would be so great. I’m sure she has the whole thing planned already!

  1. Mission trip

Yes, I know this is vague. For those of you that have been following along with me for a while now you know I go on a mission trip every year with Samaritans Feet. Normally by now I have it figured out exactly where I plan to go on mission in the summer, but this year I don’t. My schedule is up in the air for some months, and none of the dates currently work with any of the trips they have set. This year I might not go out of the country on a mission trip, and God’s teaching me that that’s okay. There is mission work to be done in the Unites States. There is mission work to be done right where I am sitting in this coffee shop in NWA. This year my mission trip might look a little different, but as I continue to pray about it I am becoming more and more set to do some work around my own home.

  1. Staycations

If you read my last blog you know I plan to be more intentional this year. Part of being intentional is self care! This year I want to make an effort to spend weekends home in NWA but away from where I normally stay to focus on relaxing and get away from my busy schedule. Whether its checking in to a hotel and pretending I’m a tourist hitting all the top spots in NWA, or spending a relaxing weekend at the lake house when the weather gets warmer. I’m most excited for this! Making new memories in NWA.

I hope you enjoyed my seeing my bucket list! In some spots I mentioned past blogs, so I will put the links to those below so you can refer back to, or catch up on them. I cant wait to start the travels. Let’s go 2020!!
